Determine the number of robot needed to reach the cycle time Determine the type of robot according to the load and the accessibility Determine the options needed on the robot Develop the full robot program Insure the communication with the PLC (I/O) Install new robotic cells throughout the plant. Manage and setup all that is involved in robotics in new cells. Maintains and upgrades existing robotic cells throughout the plant. Insures the good working order and their up keep of the robotic cells within the plant Supports and trains the maintenance and production people so they can repair breakdowns and do level 1 PM’s. Trains the cell staff on how to adjust points. Informs the RUPA, production and facility managers of any malfunctions within the robotic cells and addresses an action plan to resolve them. He will report to his team and the building maintenance manger. He will have to follow the preventive maintenance schedule and record all his intervention into the company maintenance software : spare parts used, time to repair, work instructions or technical documents updates,… Skills : Good mechanical and electrical abilities, troubleshooting abilities, with PLC or CNC background, blueprints/schematics reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, CMMS experience, good communication skills with a great attitude and ready to be part of a growing team. The maintenance agent, in association with the leader, ensures preventive and corrective maintenance in an independent and safe way on all electrical and electromechanical installations of the site. He participates in the progress of the facilities. DUTIES: Carry out preventive maintenance: -Analyzing and effecting improvements on facilities as a result of observations made during the course of preventive maintenance Carry out corrective maintenance: For this, he should analyze the malfunction and propose, then put into effect, the best solution. When a repair is done, he/she should inform his supervisor and/or production about availability of the equipment and immediately give the repair done. He/she records immediately the incident encountered (log book and GMAO [Computerized Maintenance Management System])   -Participating in regularly scheduled maintenance stops. Help maintenance agents and exterior companies as necessary, carrying out an intervention on-site, in agreement with supervisor. Be able to find technical information. The maintenance technician can also be required to contact external suppliers directly. . Participate in smooth functioning of the spare parts storeroom (exit storeroom) Fill out time sheets daily and turn them in to supervisor.
