Position Summary The academic technology coordinator is responsible for developing and leading an innovative program of instructional technology that enriches and supports student learning in the 21st   century.  The coordinator is in the unique position of relating equally well to humans and to machines.  Essential Functions Take a leadership role in developing and implementing the school’s instructional use of computers.  Understand the school budget, budgeting process, and spending process, and work within this system to secure adequate resources for instructional computing.  Proactively manage communications pertaining to technical support, site operations, changes, outages, and issues to assigned client base in a timely, professional manner. Supervise team of technicians, assigning duties and preparing and delivering performance reviews.  Assist the school in developing and implementing a vision of technology as a means of inquiry and exploration, research, and assessment Work along with the educational technology integrators to help faculty to fully realize the curricular and creative potential of technology. Provide user support for desktop and LAN-based applications. Meet with the school’s leaders and/or division leaders and develop technology committee(s) to implement the technology plan at a division or at grade level Work with school or division leaders to develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a school technology-oriented in service plan.  Help develop and implement a school procedure for the evaluation of software, hardware, and courseware, and for the sharing of the results of such evaluation.  Be involved in school research projects to evaluate instructional use of computers. Design and encourage pilot projects.  For each new innovation, eventually the school must decide whether to adopt and implement its use.  Pilot studies can help answer such questions.  Disseminate technology-related information throughout the school via news bulletins and through presentations at staff meetings. Remain technically competent.  Continue to grow as a professional technology educator.  Keep apprised of changes in the technologies available and the direction of future technology development.  Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree required; MBA  or Masters in Educational Technology preferred Minimum of 3 years of operations experience in combination with three or more years of managing technical personnel  3 years of relationship management experience, with a minimum of 1 year in an outsourcing setting or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Demonstrates an understanding of the needs and benefits of a commitment to lifelong learning.    Certifications ITIL preferred Travel Up to 25% Physical Requirements Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; ability to lift at least 25 pounds Work Schedule Year-round, Monday-Friday Supervisory Responsibilities Assigned school employees

Position Summary To contribute to client retention by effectively managing daily activities in assigned district.  This will include leading a team of technicians who provide timely, professional front-line and higher-level technical support to teachers, staff, and students. Essential Functions Manage daily activities of assigned resources to ensure clients receive effective and timely resolution of all issues in compliance with the Service Level Agreement requirements defined in the client contract and based on established company objectives. Oversee daily volume of incidents generated from each client site; help prioritize incidents across all clients to ensure timely resolution of issues with highest impact on clients. Ensure work is assigned to proper resource; collaborate with engineers to coordinate work or escalations from site team to engineering or from engineers to site teams. Participate in resource management meetings on a weekly basis to identify resource-sharing opportunities across the organization and to ensure optimal productivity levels are achieved by all technical resources each week. Proactively manage communications pertaining to technical support, site operations, changes, outages, and issues to assigned client base in a timely, professional manner. Regularly communicates service performance levels to key stakeholders, including Assistant Director – Field Operations and/or executive sponsor.  Serve as key point of contact for all matters related to the help desk, including:  implementation of help desk strategy and initiatives, client and/ or account team escalations, help desk reporting, help desk productivity, and help desk hours of coverage. Supervise team of technicians, assigning duties and preparing and delivering performance reviews.  Manage resources, including sourcing for, hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing staff.
