ASAP Personnel Services was founded in 1988 to serve its founder's manufacturing needs for seasonal employees. The focus was to maximize production and minimize labor costs by bracing labor expense only when the labor force was required.

The understanding of a limited need for a full-time workforce and the seasonality of production allowed for labor force growth and reduction as needed. This flexible system of handling staffing requirements helped the company by minimizing labor costs, maximizing productivity, and improving labor relations.

ASAP Personnel was founded in 1988 by Charles Robertson after he saw a critical need during his 20-plus-year manufacturing career to have qualified workers. However, with the seasonality involved in the manufacturing business, temporary labor was necessary to complete the work at hand. the lack of selection process by the agencies he engaged led to the formation of ASAP. ASAP's CEO Charles Robertson and COO Kevin Fair have a combined 50 years experience in the staffing and recruiting industry.

At ASAP. we have high standards for our staff and invest deeply in them, but also hold them accountable to these high standards. Every employee of ASAP goes through a two-day leadership training session with VIP2 (stands for Values-driven, Informed, Passionate People), an organization led by former Caterpillar executive Jon Harrison who works closely with all of our people, and other dynamic professionals to provide robust leadership training, individual coaching and inspiration for every leader in our organization.
