Position Summary...

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

What you'll do...

  • Enforces policies relating to internal business processes and functions by publishing Merchandising, Replenishment, and Item File guidelines and procedural documents; and approving or rejecting requests for systems access and levels.

  • Manages Merchandising, Replenishment, and Item File projects and develops work-flow processes by working with key stakeholders to determine business requirements; and collaborating with Information Systems Division (ISD) and other leaders within Sam's Club to ensure quality, timeliness, functionality, and payback.

  • Drives resolution of support issues related to systems and processes by consulting and advising customer/partner base on business solutions and directions; collaborating with other areas within Sam's Club and Wal-Mart when developing corporate solutions; and overseeing the development of training plans for newly implemented systems.

Minimum Qualifications: 2 years' Walmart or Sam’s Club Merchandising, Replenishment, Operations, or related field experience. 1 year's work experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
