Position Summary...

Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

What you'll do...

Drives the execution of the enterprise and industry-leading business plans and priorities by identifying current and future technology, business and customer needs; developing and communicating business and technical plans and priorities up to and including the board of directors and senior-level leadership; removing industry and enterprise barriers and obstacles that impact delivery and performance standards; identifying industry and internal resources and direction; establishing and measuring performance standards of business processes and associated technology solutions; and demonstrating adaptability and driving continuous learning in industry-leading business and technology solutions.

Leads technology business solutions for the industry and enterprise by leveraging industry-leading knowledge and setting new standards and solutions; developing transitional roadmaps for strategic solution delivery; clarifying existing enterprise or industry level architecture; validating system implementation roadmaps for the industry and enterprise; designing industry and associated enterprise integration architecture for current and future processes that include business transformational designs; driving architectural designs that benefit business goals; influencing industry standards; determining budget impact of solutions based on total cost of ownership analysis; and leveraging strategic partners and joint venture relationships.

Leads one or more industry standards bodies and associated engineering groups to influence the industry standards to create a competitive advantage for the enterprise by contributing directly to a patented solution or delivering an industry-accepted patented solution; utilizing industry research and relationships to improve the corporate technology environment; analyzing industry best practices; developing new industry best practices; researching industry standards and technologies to align with corporate strategic technology and business strategies; benchmarking industry standards against internal technologies, process and solutions; and developing new industry standards for technology, process and associated solutions.

Delivering communications on business, architectural and technological vision to ensure enterprise and industry understanding and support by creating an integrated enterprise solution for functional teams and the industry; and enforcing all appropriate policies, standards, and guidelines or creating them as needed, both internally and externally.

Integrates business needs with technology capabilities in solution development by promoting and managing a uniform concept of owned services; conducting architectural presentations at all levels within the enterprise to align and reinforce shared information, infrastructure, application and business processes; and driving enterprise integrity of systems and associated business processes through impact analysis.
