Position Summary...

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

What you'll do...

•Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Information Technology and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans 

•Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity 

•Monitors the prioritization and handling of information technology-related requests 

•Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions 

•Provides information technology (IT) support to Walmart associates 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of solid Mac troubleshooting experience 

• Associate degree (Bachelors preferred) or 2 years of corporate IT support experience (working with MACs and Windows, with at least one of those years working as an elevated capacity, like L2)

• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook O365 email and VPN.

• Desktop/chat/phone support or customer facing experience 

• Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues 

• Excellent customer service

• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to multitask and prioritize 

• Ability to work well in a fast paced, team/collaborative environment 

• Ability to manage IT incidents/requests

Additional Preferred Qualifications 

• Expert at diagnosing and fixing Mac OS hardware and software applications

• Experience supporting MACs in an enterprise environment and worked with the Microsoft Office suite, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Zoom, Workplace (Facebook), Slack, VMware virtual desktop, Bomgar and remote desktop 

• 1 year or more years of having worked on servers (Windows, MACs, or Linux) in some support capacity

• Jamf JSS/Casper knowledge is a plus

• Ability to create knowledge base article(s) when needed 

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills 

•Previous experience with Project coordination
