The Mission Assurance Repository (MAR) team at Walmart is responsible for developing the capability to map Walmart applications. Using proprietary tools and carefully curated data we document the relationships between the APM Application Names and the people and computing infrastructure that support them.
Application mapping was originally developed to support Walmart’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) efforts. The collection and correlation of the data needed to perform mapping has led to the identification of many compelling new use-cases for our tools and data. You will help shape the direction we take these use-cases with a ground-floor opportunity to explore how we expand our value even further.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management for the MAR, you will be a key contributor to leading and managing the product roadmap, design, and execution of the principal technology that provides application mapping capabilities.
