Position Summary...

What you'll do...

What you will do: 

  • As an Android Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for large-scale, mobile applications development and maintenance.
  • Interact with the business partners to provide robust technical solutions to business problems.
  • Interact with fellow engineers to follow and refine best practices in mobile development.

About You: 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Android framework and respective component lifecycles.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning.
  • Mastering of Kotlin, and Gradle
  • Experience using the state-of-the-art Android libraries (Android X, Retrofit, etc.)
  • Experience in good app architecture using design patterns such as MVVM, MVP or Clean
  • Experience working with external data sources and APIs
  • Ability to build products with focus on testability, someone who loves test coverage
  • A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment.
  • A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years in Android Development with a strong sense of communication and collaboration.

Additional preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with Datawedge or scanning libraries. 
  • Experience working with large scale Supply chain or Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Experience working with GraphQL or Android Apollo Client.
