The Customer Data/Stewardship/Single View of Customer team which is a part of the Metrics and Measurement team in the Customer Org at Walmart owns customer data regarding data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, data governance, metrics harmonization along with single view of customer.

As a Senior Management II, Product Management in the team, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage the power of technology, big data and analytics to improve the lives of the 100M+ households that shop at Walmart every year. This role will specifically support single view of customer.

Our ideal candidate is a sharp, thoughtful, and collaborative problem solver, who enjoys identifying key business levers and challenges, and then building single view of customer data to enable strategic decision making. You will have opportunity to drive initiatives that support the rapid growth of our online and omni-channel customer base. You will work closely with your peers and cross functional partners to help drive Weekly, Monthly Business Reviews, provide business relevant dashboards and KPIs with a robust foundation.

  • Analytics expertise – You excel at designing and building new and impactful KPIs and metrics to measure customer and competitive dynamics. You are equally strong at getting into the weeds and making sure that the data needed to support these metrics is consistent and available. You are very comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed and writing complex SQL queries for quick prototyping and helping junior associates debug their work and raise the bar.

  • Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps
  • Drive user experience (UX) research and workshops, developing personas and user journeys  
  • Ensure product requirements are documented and followed from start to finish  
  • Test new capabilities and functionality to understand viability and impact  
  • Measure, analyze & grow product usage, adoption and net promoter score (NPS) 

You’ll make an impact by:

Launch & Grow a New Data Product – Product Management Fundamentals:  

  • Develop & evolve personas, journeys and evolve the product value proposition  
  • Backlog development, stewarding all product requirements  
  • Working with Scrum Master/team to ensure release planning is done effectively  
  • Sprint planning and retro/demos are conducted successfully and consistently  
  • Driving Scrum Team accountability and advocating for the user  

Product front end requirements & testing:

  • Direct UX designers and front-end developers to ensure design objectives are achieved and support/align to user stores and acceptance criteria.  
  • Ensure all final designs implemented are tested and improve product key performance indicators (KPIs).  
  • Help translate brand guidelines into product style guidelines, while remaining consistent to product experience strategy. Ensure team follows design standards.   

Create & steward product KPIs:  

  • Implement a rigorous test and learn process for evaluating product updates before pushing to production and then incorporate relevant learnings into the product roadmap.  
  • Develop & manage KPIs for product reporting, coordinate with project management (PMO) to ensure tracking and reporting capabilities are in place.  
  • Grow product utility, usage and satisfaction: From NPS to exit survey to daily active users (DAU) and other clickstream-driven engagement metrics, develop a holistic view of user experience and methodology for translating this data into improvements that grow adoption and usage.  
  • Executive reporting: support ongoing updates to leadership on product status, progress and health/KPIs in a way that is clear, concise and focused on transparently communicating the situation, complication and resolution.  
  • Work with team leads to develop OKRs and align KPIs to OKRs  
  • Demonstrate up to date expertise and applies development, execution, and improvement of action plans

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience in product management or related field OR 6 years’ experience in product management or related field.
2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
