Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of an enterprise data dictionary that is aligned to data assets and the business glossary for group responsible for the definition and maintenance of group's data landscape including overlays with the technology landscape, end-to-end data flows/transformations and data lineage.
  •  Responsible for data quality and data accuracy across all group delivery initiatives and responsible for reviewing and governing data queries and DML.
  • Accountable for the performance, quality, and alignment to requirements for all data query design and development.
  • Responsible for defining standards and best practices for data analysis and data consumption
  • Responsible for understanding end-to-end data flows and identifying data dependencies in support of delivery, release, and change management.
  • Partners with the data governance team to ensure solutions adhere to the organization’s data principles and guidelines. Owns group's data assets including reports, data warehouse, etc.
  • Knowledge about Microservices using Java Springboot or Python is a plus
  • Prior experience in Google Big Query is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in collecting and interpreting data and Analyzing results
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL is a must.
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes
  • Experience in data models and reporting packages
  • 5+ years of experience to analyze large datasets
  • 3 + years of experience in building pipelines using PySpark
  • 2 + years of experience on Big Data on Cloud (Azure or Google)
  • 2 + years of experience in cloud services like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS Gen2 or GCP Dataproc, GCS Buckets
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
  • Attention to detail is required.
