Team overview:

The International Merchandising team contributes to key global pricing platform for Walmart Canada, Walmart Mexico, Walmart CAM, Walmart Chile and Walmart China. We work on technologies that intersect a wide variety of business models for Pricing platforms in various format. Our focus is to build/maintain a continuous, seamless, agile process and unlock value to business via pricing solutions for Merchants.

Primary responsibilities and accountabilities for the Manager II, Product Management role:

Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for moderately complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Drives the product discovery process for moderately complex products projects by collaborating with the Business, User Experience, and Engineering Teams during discovery to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features; specifying, prioritizing, and communicating high level and detailed product specifications; and using written specifications, business rules, flows, cases and user experience generated deliverables (for example, prototypes, wireframes, design and copy documents). Supports product implementation and deployment for moderately complex products projects by engaging with Engineering and Project Management during implementation to answer questions and make scope trade off decisions; working closely with business to launch products and ensure their adoption; coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance testing was successful; managing the development of training materials; training and supporting users on new product features; managing close-loop feedback cycles to encompass customer and user comments and needs; and defining, tracking and improving key product metrics. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 2 years’ experience in product management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related field OR 4 years’ experience in product management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related fields

Preferred Educational Qualification:

Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Science, Masters: Engineering General
