Metova's engineering team is looking for an Enterprise Automation Programmer to join our growing team.

You are highly motivated, collaborative, and technical, with the passion to help shape the delivery of software products for our customers. You are passionate about software development and interested in helping to support the future of our development team(s).


The Enterprise Automation Programmer serves as a member of the Enterprise Automation Engineering team (EAE) and will have responsibilities in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and DevOps deployment automation. RPA responsibilities include collaborating directly with business areas to evaluate the technical feasibility of business process automation ideas, working with business analysts on the EAE team to create development and testing timelines for process automations, development of the automated processes, and implementation and operational maintenance of automated business processes. DevOps responsibilities include planning, development, and operational support of deployment automations using modern CI/CD pipelines tools, version control tools, artifact repositories, high-level languages, and scripting to enable real-time deployment of internally developed applications across The Enterprise.


The Enterprise Automation Programmer’s (EAP) typical day will include:

  • Attending daily Scrum stand-up meetings to briefly discuss the previous and current day’s activities 
  • Reviewing assigned tasks and working with business analysts and business users as well as leadership to execute projects based on a Scrum development framework 
  • Writing code and processes to support the EAE team projects/stories and Enterprise-level business initiatives 
  • Participating in a combination of on-the-job, online and instructor led training
  • Engaging in a self-directed project tasks and allocating the appropriate amount of time to researching, developing and testing to complete assignments    


  • One to five years of experience with at least of the the following programming languages Java, .Net or C++
  • Experience with scripting languages such as BASH or PowerShell   
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment  
  • Ability to communicate with our customers and other technical team members 
  • Experience with unit testing of code in a work or academic setting
  • Experience working with multiple platforms  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field 

 We consider it a plus if you have experience with: 

  • Eclipse or another IDE 
  • SQL in a work or academic setting
  • Jenkins, Git, Linux in a work or academic setting
  • Hands-on application in web services  
  • Process automation tools
  • DevOps pipeline development tools
