Job Description

Additionally, you will work in partnership with business leaders to develop KPIs, provide ongoing reporting and analyze the business impact of strategic initiatives.

Arkansas Center for Data Sciences (ACDS) is helping Rock Dental hire a Data Analyst in Little Rock. 

About the Employer: 

Rock Dental Brands is an innovative, multi-disciplinary group of practices providing office support to over 80 dental and orthodontic practices. They specialize in Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, General Dentistry, and Oral Surgery.


  • Understand key levers and devise new ways to segment and analyze the business
  • Proactively identify insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop key performance indicators
  • Identify trends, outliers, and obscurities in the data and translate them into actionable insights for business leaders
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive Team on progress towards goals
  • Create simple and compelling visuals to demonstrate business performance for presentations to the Board of Directors
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to facilitate forecasting business impact and analyze results of pilot implementations

What's a successful candidate look like?

  • Bachelor's degree (or 2+ years experience of statistical or data analysis) in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence (BI) and BI visualizations tools such as Tableau 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • 2+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and managing dashboards & analytics
  • A strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and normalization
  • Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools
  • Solid communication skills and ability to present data to leadership


  • Ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite at office in Little Rock (position not eligible for remote)
