Senior Quality Engineer - Point of Sale  

Project Description
We are Point of Sale building NextGen Point of Sale & Front-End Applications across the Walmart US, International stores, eCommerce, and Store Systems to create best in class customer experience. Our goal is to build a modern and omni-channel POS platform to improve speed, reduces fraud and overall infrastructure cost. Scan & Go (S&G) offered as part of the Walmart Shopping and Grocery App provides our in-store shoppers with a personalized digital experience saving them time and money. We are adding new capabilities to S&G to improve the Customer experience and provide more flexibility.

Our Ideal Candidate will have these skills:  
•    Experience in building test automation frameworks and libraries.
•    Experience in building test suites using Appium, Cucumber, Selenium etc.
•    Automate the Test Data Management using Automation tools.
•    Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
•    Experience in building and configuring CI/CD flows for multi cloud deployments
•    Own test strategy, create test plans and execute end to end functional and integration tests to certify Mobile App / front-end deployments

Nice to have skills
•    Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs
•    Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team
•    Expertise in Java 
•    Testing Mobile Applications in the context of Retail / Point of Sale Applications
•    Proficient with bug tracking software like Jira
•    Adept at debugging, troubleshooting, and critical thinking

About The Team
As a member of the Scan & Go Engineering team, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing manual and automated tests for new features in addition to regression tests. You will execute independently and own the quality gate for our releases and increase our foot-print of automated test coverage. As a member of the team, you’ll be able to say that you work for the world’s largest retailer and contribute to the development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years experience in information technology or related field
within the past 10 years OR 7 years experience in information technology or related field within the past 10 years.
