Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a part of the Walmart Global Tech – Finance Tech team, you will play a key role in the development of our next-generation strategic planning platform. You will collaborate and influence cross-functional stakeholders and work alongside teams from within and outside Walmart to develop a state-of-the-art collaborative product that will drive our growth. You will identify emerging technologies, evaluate, and select vendors and get alignment for the creation of co-developed products.

The ideal candidate for this role is a creative and customer-centric problem solver, a strategic thinker who has an analytical mindset, and is results-oriented. You’re a highly motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of building platform products, and a passion for understanding the competitive landscape and capabilities. You’re an excellent communicator, building strong cross-functional relationships.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

  • You have managed a data or machine learning automation project for a distributed enterprise
  • You have a portfolio of product management experiences in the digital transformation of a business area (ex. Human resources, finance, supply chain, etc).
  • You like digging into data and solving complex challenges
  • You’re comfortable influencing others, leading teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly
  • You have demonstrable Program Management experience at a large scale

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Bringing Passion to ideate, plan, and deliver technology-driven digital transformations
  • Developing and enhancing products – you will manage multi-year product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, turn customer insights into actionable features, determine rollout strategy and manage risks
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required/MBA a huge plus!
  • 6+ years in product management, emerging technologies, data analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience in identifying key metrics, conducting rigorous explorative data analysis, and building business cases that drive decision making and business prioritization
  • Data-driven mindset with a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics or Mathematics
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically
