This position is responsible for assisting with Walmart’s Information Security Awareness, Communication and Training (ACT) Social Engineering and Phishing program. The overall goal of the program is to ensure all associates and vendor partners with access to the corporate network are appropriately trained with respect to risks, roles, directives, and behaviors while making them generally aware of best practices.

This position will manage a broad set of activities, including, but not limited to: end-to-end support and maintenance of the phishing platform and database, creation of HTML content, program modifications to the platform, automation, administration of the phishing and social engineering campaigns, maturity of the program, facilitating the marketing of cybersecurity awareness and training campaigns, scheduling meetings, creating content to raise awareness of information security, and driving appropriate behaviors.

What you'll do...

  • Support the containerization and deployment of Open-Source applications
  • Experience with Java, SQL, HTML, PowerShell, Python, Linux, Azure
  • Solid Golang and WCNP experience a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of Web Services technologies such as XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, AJAX, etc.
  • Understanding of Windows/Linux/MacOS operating systems, web application concepts and network/storage/computer infrastructure
  • Ability to architect all components of a backend project
  • Ability to run projects through solid processes (things like code reviews, reviewing stories, planning)
  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to use Git effectively and securely
  • Ability to build secure apps, ability to test effectively and follow SDLC processes
  • Experience in maintenance, monitoring, and support of production systems
  • Effectively communicate information regarding fixes, enhancements, and issue status and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff
  • Experience with turning requested functional requirements into technical solutions and assessing the level of effort and time (related to point 7 on your list already)
  • Experience with Application Security practices
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience in Machine Learning a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and in cooperation with others
  • Ability to instill and enforce best practices around web development
  • Ability to navigate large existing code, and improve it as it changes

  • Partner with the global markets on monthly social engineering prevention campaigns
  • Data gathering requirements
  • Developing social engineering material in a variety of languages via translator
