Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Join the team driving digital strategy and transformation for Walmart’s Global Governance organization. Manager II, Portfolio Management is an important role on the Global Governance Strategy and Operations team that informs our digital solution and system portfolio, helps maintain our long-term roadmap, and leverages technology to drive efficiencies within our business processes.

The Global Governance (GG) organization is comprised of Strategy and Operations, Legal, Global Investigations, Ethics and Compliance, Digital Citizenship, Global Security and Aviation, and the Office of the Corporate Secretary.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Serve as the primary technology liaison working directly with an assigned GG division(s) to advocate for and accelerate their technology and data objectives, including building and maintaining a long-term roadmap that reflects their needs.
  • Map critical processes and data flows to determine how technology can add value, address friction, or otherwise modernize workflows across the portfolio.
  • Assist with maturity assessments and system application inventory exercises; review outputs and make recommendations to improve or enhance current state.
  • Assist with application lifecycle management and rationalization activities, including support for data migrations and decommissions as needed.
  • Oversee system administration, technical support, and user access management of for systems directly managed by GG to ensure a high-level of customer service to end users.
  • Work with external vendor teams and Global Tech to continuously evolve existing products to meet business requirements, ensure contract terms are met, fix bugs, and maintain security compliance.  
  • Build and foster relationships with Digital Acceleration Program Management team to share information and integrate new products into ecosystem

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience in technology, system management and integration, process design, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in technology, system management and integration, process design, or related area.
