Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Join the team driving digital strategy and transformation for Walmart’s Global Governance organization. Senior Manager I, Portfolio Management is an important role on the Global Governance Strategy and Operations team that manages our digital solution and system portfolio, influences our long-term roadmap, and leverages technology to drive efficiencies within our business processes.

The Global Governance (GG) organization is comprised of Strategy and Operations, Legal, Global Investigations, Ethics and Compliance, Digital Citizenship, Global Security and Aviation, and the Office of the Corporate Secretary.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Serve as the primary technology liaison working directly with an assigned GG division(s) to advocate for and accelerate their technology and data objectives, including building and maintaining a long-term roadmap that reflects their needs

  • Map critical processes and data flows to determine how technology can add value, address friction, or otherwise modernize workflows across the portfolio

  • Lead complex maturity assessments and system application inventory exercises; review outputs and make recommendations to improve or enhance current state

  • Lead application lifecycle management and rationalization activities, including support for data migrations and decommissions as needed.

  • Identify and scope opportunities for process improvement,

  • integration, and/or modernization of processes, including assistance to business stakeholders on developing effective business case(s) for future technology requests and needs

  • Assist with change management activities as needed to support major changes in our technology portfolio

  • Build and foster relationships with Digital Acceleration Program Management team to share information and integrate new products into the existing technology ecosystem

  • You have experience mapping complex data flows and technical processes

  • You have a proven track record building compelling business cases and measuring ROI

  • You have successfully collaborated with business teams to improve compliance or legal workflows

  • You have a bias towards action and execution

  • You are process-minded and actively seek out opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years’ experience in technology, system
management and integration, process design, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in technology, system management and integration, process
