Description:

  • Material Management Technician is responsible for tracking raw material information to keep supply chains on schedule and maintaining accuracy of reported inventory levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Record raw material movement in the accounting system.
  • Perform cycle counts of raw materials
  • Perform stock counts
  • Verify and maintain accuracy of inventory records.
  • Weigh chemicals and record scrap data
  • Requisition raw materials for purchase
  • Root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed
  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and procurement.

Required Skills:

  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Tech license
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with an MRP system
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all business departments
  • Ability to lift more than 50lb
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery such as a lift
