Manager II, Product Management - Core Developer Platforms :

About the Team

As part of the Walmart Global Technology Platforms Team, in this role you will guide Product Management for several Core Development platforms. These platforms enable Global Tech engineers to deliver capabilities efficiently and effectively in an incredibly dynamic environment, leveraging ever-changing technologies. You will collaborate with your product teams to set strategy, define roadmaps, and align work in an agile manner. This role will partner with key stakeholders and user communities to understand user personas, proactively identify needs, and scope/prioritize those w/ the product team. You will be the primary product point of contact for quarterly planning, including driving Key Result definitions and measurement capabilities are in place to ensure success.

You will work as a leader to foster collaboration between engineering, program, and other product teams. You will evangelize your products' capabilities and work with user communities to drive adoption to realize the most value to Walmart.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Capturing product requirements, prioritizing requests, establishing goals, and driving the feature development process.
  • Driving product development lifecycle that involves scoping, and delivering end-to-end projects/features that translate customer needs into concise business and product requirements, ensuring project success from design to release, and managing product launches
  • Defining and analyzing metrics that inform the success of the overall platform.
  • Working with the leadership team to track appropriate metrics, OKRs, key issues, status, and launch plans that inform the continued success of your projects.

  • Bachelor's degree required/MBA a huge plus!
  • 6+ years in product, project, or program management and emerging technologies.
  • 4+ years' experience managing business stakeholder relationships and analyzing business requirements to provide technology solutions.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 2 years' experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related field OR 4 years' experience in project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related fields.
