Information Security Architect 

 Dillard’s is looking for a dynamic information security professional to join their team. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to enhance security team accomplishments and competencies by assisting in planning the delivery of solutions.

  • Research and evaluate security architecture for current and future IT systems.

  • Understand Dillard’s business strategies and requirements to best evaluate security protocols and recommend changes. 

  • Respond to, and investigate, security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses and communicate incident reports to leadership explaining an event as well as recommended future preventive measures with the Incident Response Team.

  • Review system security measures and recommend necessary enhancements.

  • Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.

Required Skills

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship 

  • Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR 

  • Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic findings.

  • Ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts and must be able to communicate technical details in a non-technical manner to various levels of IT and the business, both in verbal and written form

Required Education and Years of Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with at least 5 years of IT experience and 2+ years experience in IT risk management or information security; OR

  • Education less than a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years related experience.

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years experience in IT risk management or information security is preferred.

  • Experience in retail information security. 

  • Knowledge of PCI and Privacy Principles.

  • Information security or risk management certifications are advantageous.
