Information Security Architect

Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate to enhance security team accomplishments and competencies by assisting in planning the delivery of solutions.
Research and evaluate security architecture for current and future IT systems.
Understand Dillard’s business strategies and requirements to best evaluate security protocols and recommend changes.
Respond to, and investigate, security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses and communicate incident reports to leadership explaining an event as well as recommended future preventive measures with the Incident Response Team.
Review system security measures and recommend necessary enhancements.
Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR
Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to create complex technical reports on analytic findings.
Ability to understand and discuss complex technical concepts and must be able to communicate technical details in a non-technical manner to various levels of IT and the business, both in verbal and written form
Required Education and Years of Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with at least 5 years of IT experience and 2+ years experience in IT risk management or information security; OR
Education less than a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years related experience.
5+ years experience in IT risk management or information security is preferred.
Experience in retail information security.
Knowledge of PCI and Privacy Principles.
Information security or risk management certifications are advantageous.
