Job Description

Configure, automate, and maintain version control, build, deployment, provisioning, orchestration, and tracking tools and processes. This includes working with the Infrastructure Architect and other team members to attain a fully automated continuous build, integration, delivery, and deployment pipeline across Development, QA, and Production environments.


  • Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including software configuration management practices
  • Understanding of machine and systems provisioning in AWS, Docker, Linux Containers, and VMs with a tool such as Vagrant or similar
  • Skills necessary to configure, automate, maintain, and document continuously integrated product builds and deployments
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
  • Capable of independently learning new products, technologies, and tools
  • Ability to multitask on day to day operational work in conjunction with project work, while meeting deadlines and communicating progress
  • Ability and willingness to work with cross functional teams across different time zones
  • Track and support application builds and deployments into Dev, QA, and Production environments
  • Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills with a service oriented attitude
  • Strong organizational and communication skills


  • 3+ years in software development and/or release, configuration, build, and deployment management automation
  • 3+ years Java/Ruby/Scripting experience
  • 3+ years working in a Unix/Linux environment - some system administration desired
  • 2+ years working in a Windows environment
  • Experience with any of the following: Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Cloudify, uDeploy automation tools. Specifically, hands-on projects and activities related to: deployment, provisioning, configuration, and orchestration
  • Experience with Jenkins/TeamCity/Artifactory build infrastructure
  • Experience with ANT, Gradle, and Maven build tools
  • Experience with SVN, Git, and GitHub version control tools
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field desired but not required
