Job Description

IT services at the University of Arkansas is currently seeking candidates for the position of Communications Infrastructure Specialist.  The Communications Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for managing the physical infrastructure needs of the campus network and voice services. This position would report directly to the director of infrastructure systems and work closely with team members in the network and communication systems teams to ensure that resources are available and at the standard for campus network and voice communication services. This position will also interface regularly with other campus units and vendors to deploy, manage, and maintain communications infrastructure. Additionally, this position will coordinate network and communications asset management and regular property accounting needs. There is a need for keen attention to detail, ability to work efficiently on multiple projects, and strong customer service skills.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Salary Range

$43,217 to $49,196 (commensurate with experience)
