Job Description

The Director of Project Management serves as Director of the Project Management Team for campus IT. This position manages a small, but effective team of project managers; leads the Project Management Team to develop and refine an organizational project management framework to formalize project management standards, policies, and procedures; and coordinates communication across teams and to all levels within campus IT. The Director of Project Management works with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure projects are managed using appropriate project management methodologies; proactively manages project timelines through schedule management and progress tracking; takes responsibility for Creates project templates; and coaches and mentors technical project leads on successful project execution.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
