The IT services department at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville is searching for a Change Manager. Under the direction of the Project Management Ofcec the Change Manager is responsible for the delivery of change management activities forprojects and other initiatives that are strategically aligned to University objectives. The individual will be responsible for best practice change management frameworks and ensuring that appropriate governance and controls are in place to ensure successful execution and delivery of business beneftsc resultsc and outcomes.This position will work alongside Project Management and senior leaders to gain commitment of the staf to embracec adaptc and use new processes and systems. The intended outcomes will be to improve the performance of the organization by successfully implementing a change that delivers the intended results and outcomes of IT-based projects. This position will be responsible for the following activities: Creating and supporting the establishment of a common change management practice across the university to serve and support the successful delivery of technology-based change initiatives. Efectively leading the change management aspects of project delivery to successfully deliver a comprehensive change management approach. Building a change management capability within the University Providing implementation advice to project team membersc business stakeholders and senior executives on change roll-out issues. Providing regular and meaningful reports to the institution on the delivery of change management plans within projects and programs of work. Understanding the organizational culture and determining how to help facilitate change across the institution. Efectively facilitating workshops to enable consultation with stakeholders to develop and implement a change management plan to provide the strategies that can be applied to understand and manage the impact of the change on the business operations of the University. Working with business stakeholders to identify the interestc concerns and issues of key stakeholder groups. Actively promoting trust and close co-operation between the business and technology to promote ongoing visibility. Creating and implementing change management processesc proceduresc and standards to be employed across the portfolio of IT projects. Minimum Requirements: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in a related feld froman accredited institution of higher education At least four years of experience with responsibility for leading eforts in change managementc or related area (trainingc communications) on large or complex technology or organizational change projects Preferred Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or at least two years of experience working in higher education role. Experience as a Change Manager or Change Lead on at least one full lifecycleof a recent (within the last 2 years) Workday ERP implementation. Demonstrable experience working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
