IT services at the University of Arkansas is currently seeking candidates for the position of Associate CIO of Service & Customer Engagement. This position serves as a member of the CIO leadership team and reports directly to the CIO. The duties for this position include the following: Provides leadership and support for campus-wide information technologies and services. Works with stakeholders and IT professionals across campus, leveraging emerging trends to support classroom technologies, service desk and software implementation. Facilitates the shared development of technology-related policy and procedure. Aligns resources with strategic goals and objectives. Guides, creates and executes technology standards. Manages multiple teams and works with IT managers and directors across campus. Develops and communicates services and user support vision for the university. Develops and coordinates comprehensive technical and operational plans which incorporates the goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the university and IT.
